What you stop doing
You know the look the second it shows up on film. The slow part is the alignment, the spacing, and rebuilding the card by hand. Say the formation, the concept, and the assignments out loud instead, and the drawing is on screen before you've rewound the clip.
Pause the film to place every player
Call the look while it’s still on screen
Redraw the play after one change
Fix the one thing that’s wrong
Translate your calls into the tool’s words
Teach “South” and “Cougar” once
Rebuild every play again as a scout card
Send the whole week to one packet
“Move Y to the backside and take the dig to fifteen.”
One sentence changes two routes. Everything you already approved stays exactly where you put it.
From the call to the install packet
No jumping between a drawing app, the playbook, and the copier. One path: say it, read it, coach it, print it.
Speak it or type it exactly the way you would give it to your staff. Formation, concept, hash and all.
Seconds later a structured diagram comes back with every player, route, and block already placed.
Ask for the correction in plain English, or move any player or route to the depth you actually teach.
Save it to the playbook, pull it into this week’s plan, and export the packet for the meeting.
You have the last word
Every play comes back as a draft: players, routes, blocks, terminology. Change any of it before it ever reaches a card or a kid.
Call it out loud in the film room or type it on the bus ride home. Same football language either way.
Move a player, pull a route to the right depth, change an assignment. Every line is yours to edit.
High-school or college hash, your team’s colors, your field position and perspective. Cards come out looking like the ones you already hand out.
Pull the week’s plays into a single branded, print-ready set of cards for the meeting room.
How this is different
Football software has sold the same two things for twenty years: a catalog of somebody else’s plays and a toolbar to draw your own. Coach Install starts from the call you would actually make, and it keeps the parts of your system you teach it.
You don’t scroll someone else’s catalog hoping a diagram is close enough to your system. You say your call and get your version of it.
Plays come back as real geometry. Players, routes, and blocks you can grab and move, never a flat image you’d have to redraw to change.
There’s no palette of arrows and shapes to learn first. The input is football language, which you already speak fluently.
Teach it “South” and “Cougar” once. Those calls are yours from then on.
Your aliases, packages, and route rules are saved to your profile instead of retyped every time, so the tool fits your system in year two better than it did on day one.
Call the opponent’s looks as they come off the screen instead of rebuilding them from your notes that night.
Walk in with one packet instead of a folder of drawings from four different tools.
Fronts, pressures, and coverage work exactly the way formations, routes, and blocks do.
Straight answers
If yours isn't here, email us and you'll get a real answer from the people building it.
You fix it in a sentence. Say “take the dig to fifteen” or drag the route yourself. What comes back is a draft you approve, not a picture you have to accept or redraw.
Not on the first day, and it doesn’t pretend to. You teach it your words once and they stick. Call a formation “South” or a play “Cougar,” and those terms become reusable parts of your system, along with your packages and route rules.
That’s the normal case. There’s no fixed catalog to match, so a homegrown concept or an odd formation is just another call. Founding coaches get a session to load their vocabulary before they start.
Both sides of the ball. Fronts, pressures, and coverages work the same way formations, routes, and blocks do, and cards follow high-school or college hash marks depending on what you coach.
You do. Your plays stay viewable and exportable for at least a year after a subscription ends, and getting your own work out is never locked behind resubscribing.
Early access is free while we’re still building. At launch the plan is $249 a year, which is in line with the tools coaches already buy. Founding coaches pay $199 for the first year and renew at the standard rate after that.
